My Perfect Space

This was a "builder's white" Bungalow that was transformed over the course of 6 years, inside and out, into a lovely and cozy home. Every color that was put on the wall, or plant that was selected for the garden was done so from a Feng Shui perspective in order to create balance and serenity in the home.

This was such a fun project. The owner wanted to do a straw bale structure, eco-friendly and the design and layout was entirely based in Feng Shui. The layout was based upon the Bagua map and each area was specifically designed with specific intention in each space.

Ch'i Spa is a new Spa business that features extraordinary services and natural products. The challenge was to maximize the options on the client's strict budget. We used 6' high screens to create secluded areas for shorter treatment areas, plants, and bringing in the beautiful pink colors of the client's cherry blossom theme onto the walls, with a soothing neutral color to balance the space & support her earth elements.
