Out With the Old, In With the New

There has been an energy in the air lately...it seems like just when you figure something out, it changes...it shifts...it is no longer relevant.  I was just getting used to having the Autumn weather here, and then it snowed! (excuse me, Mother Nature...it is only October!)  I can feel the unrest of the people, and the Occupy Wall Street explodes nationally, and beyond.  A country faced with new found freedom and responsibility after the assassination of Gaddafi. And many people are feeling unrest within as well.  I have had so many calls to work with people in the past month who feel the need for energetic house clearings...out with the old and in with the new seems to be the theme for what's happening on many levels right now!

We find that when we work on our outer space (our home, office, yard, etc) we are working on our inner space as well.  We are energetically tied to our space(s).  Periodically it is good to clear the energy, set a new intention, and start fresh.  Typically, we seem motivated to do this at the New Year and in Spring.  However, it is important that whenever the mood strikes you...do it!  You are intuitively feeling the nudge to clear and release...follow that desire and act on it!  Release anything that doesn't serve your highest good, or doesn't bring you joy, or that you don't use frequently.  You can either donate it, recycle it or throw it away.  If you aren't sure whether or not you should release something, put it in a plastic storage bin, with the contents clearly labeled on the outside, and put on your calendar to revisit the box in 3 months.
